Adam Lambert sings Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” in New Zealand. Oh.
Miss Adam Lambert is taking her Glam Nation Tour all over the place. Today he performed at the Waitakere Trusts Stadiumkland, Aukland, New Zealand.
Don't ask me why, but Adam thought it would be awesome to cover Metallica's Enter Sandman. (I think it was a band member's birthday, or something.) Listen, there's a time and a place for Adam Lambert...and there are songs he should cover and songs he most certainly shouldn't cover. I ADORE Adam's version of Mad World so much, y'all don't even know. But Enter Sandman is on par with Celine Dion's version of AC/DC's Shook Me All Night Long...well, almost. Celine actually won the esteemed award, "World's Worst Cover Song", by European magazine, Total Guitar. I knew it was bad, but didn't realize that a publication actually polled readers with this hilarity.
Here's Adam (with an extremely long intro), doing a very karaoke-Guitar Hero-version of Enter Sandman.
Oh, and if I had to watch this Celine crap, so do YOU.
Which cover do YOU love...or loathe? Here's one of MY favorite covers, to cleanse the palate: Luther Vandross, covering the Crosby, Stills and Nash classic, Love the One You're With.
