American Idol Results – Who are the Top 2? WEST COAST SPOILER ALERT!
Okay...who are the Final Two?
After a 10-week journey, we're finally down to the top 2 contestants. Last night the idols had to perform three songs, one chosen by Jimmy Iovine, another chose by the judges and they got a little help from Beyonce with the first. It used to be that the Idols returning back to their hometowns was a big deal, but it sure didn't feel like it this season. These are probably the least interesting kids to have ever been on the show.
So after all of the fake screaming from their "fans" we got down to the results, after 95 million votes Scotty McCreery was the first to be announced for the finale. I was off and on with him all season but he seemed genuinely surprised that he was going to be in the Top 2. Joining him is Lauren Alaina. I still say she was picked to be the winner from the beginning but we'll have to see next week with the two hour final show.
I couldn't help but laugh at Haley being stunned that she wasn't picked. The growling, and her attitude, got old. I also think people sensed that she thought she deserved to be there. During the show we were also introduced to Il Volo, what I can only describe as an Opera version of the Jonas Brothers. Douchey hipster glasses included! Nicole Scherzinger performed her new single with 50 Cent. It doesn't matter what the name of it is, you've already heard Rihanna sing it.
I'm so glad this thing is almost over.

I agree with you. I have watched but I am ready for it to be done too. Haley may have talent but she really needed to suppress that snotty little bitch attitude. That was the problem with most of the singers this year. They had a sense of entitlement that they haven’t earned. I guess I will just have to watch Lauren win next week

Oh, I think Scotty might win. Lauren just doesn’t have the confidence to me. But yeah, those little snips back-talking to the judges (HALEY!) always piss me off. Ugh.
