Amy Winehouse Toxicology Report Indicates ‘No Illegal Drugs’

In statement released today a spokesperson for the family said: 'Results indicate that alcohol was present but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death.'
'The family would like to thank the police and coroner for their continuing thorough investigations and for keeping them informed throughout the process.'
I doubt we will ever know the exact cause of Amy's death -- but we all know what led up to her sad demise. The terrible facts are that Amy struggled with addiction. Her tiny heart and body couldn't take the abuse anymore; 27-year old people don't just drop dead for no apparent reason, regardless of what a "report" indicates.
Amy Winehouse is gone. Her parents had to bury their daughter. I can't imagine anything more heartbreaking.
