Christina Aguilera Gets A Star On The Hollywood Walk of Fame – PICTURES

Christina with her Star on the Walk of Fame...

The 29 year-old singer, and now actress, received the 2, 432nd Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame today. Joined by her mother, younger brother and about 1,000 fans to celebrate, Christina Aguilera said the the experience was "pretty surreal." Aguilera's star is next to screen legend Greta Garbo's star.

Lookin' GOOD, girl!

Apparently Christina was eligible to receive her star a couple of years ago. Don't know why she waited til now, but oddly enough (psssshhh) it's perfect timing with her movie, Burlesque, opening in theaters November 24. In the movie, she plays a "small town girl who moves to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams". Sound familiar?

After Christina thanked her fans and family, she added, "Dream big, everybody!" (And you, too, can have a studio or record company lobby and pay for your "Star"...yeah, there goes the myth.)
