Emmy Nominations 2012 – Full List! Who Was Snubbed?

Is it award season again or is it award season still?  I honestly can't keep up anymore.  These overpaid, underfed (the chicks are, anyway) people just keep having self-congratulatory parties all year long, don't they?  It's never-ending.  Here was my favorite part about the early-morning announcements:

Kerry Washington and Jimmy Kimmel (still in his jammies) announcing the nominees

"Jimmy Kimmel snagged his first Emmy nomination Thursday as host of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in the prestigious race for best variety, music, or comedy series. He was a last-minute fill-in to read the names, so he was on stage when it was announced.

“Should I give a speech now?” cracked Kimmel, wearing pajamas, Thursday morning.

“The Emmys should be spelled ‘M-E’, cause that what this is all about,” the still-pajamed Kimmel said in an interview after the nominees were unveiled.

Kimmel said, as expected, that it was an honor to be nominated for the first time for his ABC late night show, adding, of his fellow competitors in that category, “I think they all stink. I don’t like any of them.”
