Larry David speaking at Julia Louis-Dreyfus's Star Ceremony

Julia Louis-Dreyfus...one hot, funny bitch.

LOVE. HER.

I think I'll take it as a compliment that Felix, my 21-month old grandson said, "Mimmmmmmm" when he watched the video below with me .   (Yeah, he calls me Mim--most of the time, anyway.)  In fact, it IS a compliment, isn't it?  Oh, Felix.  You charmer...

"Julia Louis-Dreyfus is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Louis-Dreyfus is the first of all the Seinfeld stars to receive the honor, with the ceremony happening Tuesday afternoon on Hollywood Boulevard.

Last June the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced that Louis-Dreyfus would receive a star on the Walk of Fame sometime in 2010. Louis-Dreyfus, 49, is a native of New York City but moved to Washington, D.C. when she was a child. She attended Northwestern University but dropped out to pursue a gig on Saturday Night Live, where she earned notoriety starring from 1982 to 1985. She was also the show's youngest cast member (tying with Abbie Elliot) at age 21.

While on SNL, Louis-Dreyfus met SNL writer Larry David, who became a co-creator of 1989's Seinfeld. David is said to have approached Julia to be part of Seinfeld's cast and throughout the show's nine-year run, Louis-Dreyfus played her best-known role to date as Elaine Benes. After Seinfeld's 1998 series finale, she went on to star in her own NBC show Watching Ellie, but it was canceled abruptly after two seasons. Louis-Dreyfus then took a recurring role on Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm, playing a parodied version of herself: an actress who's so well-known in a certain role that she can't find another gig. Louis-Dreyfus has been nominated for Emmys every year she's appeared on the show.

Louis-Dreyfus has found success in her starring role in The New Adventures of Old Christine, for which she won an Emmy in the show's first season -- five years after her first Seinfeld Emmy. After winning the award Louis-Dreyfus was quoted saying, "I'm not somebody who really believes in curses, but curse this, baby!"

Louis-Dreyfus has been active with many philanthropic organizations such as Project HOPE. She is married to her former SNL co-star Brad Hall, which whom she has two sons. Her mother was a writer and teacher, and her father was a French attorney and business executive. Julia is said to be fluent in French. As for her amazing looks, Louis-Dreyfus credits nature and hard work, not surgery."

All I know is, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is hilarious.  Good for HER.
