Katy Perry Covers Lady Gaga – “Born This Way” in Paris (VIDEO)
No, Katy. Just NO.
How do we feel about this cover? I immediately thought of an American Idol contestant (not finalist, forpitySAKE, just some random chick at the hotel tryouts) struggling to interpret Lady Gaga's Born This Way in a country-fied hipster manner. No thank you.
I still stand by my opinion that Katy is a good studio artist **coughHEAVYPRODUCTIONcough**. Live, though? Not so much. I think she should stick to being pitchy on her own songs so the folks from the audience don't shout "GAGA!" while she's warbling.

I have to disagree with you. I appreciate Katy’s version. It looks to be recorded via a fan in the audience so quality of her voice is not an issue for me. She also is exposing the song and it’s message to an audience that might not listen to GaGa or find her accessable. THERE!!!

Oh wow. This is the best thing that I have ever heard katy Perry do live. She is so pitchy and I do NOT approve of her singing live, usually. I didn’t mind this as much as I did say, her singing “Teenage Dream” live. God save us all.
