Lady Gaga Speaks to Maria Aragon on Winnipeg HOT-103
I don't choke up easily these days, but I've got that tight pain in my throat from watching this little girl, Maria Aragon (whose cover of Born This Way I posted here yesterday) spoke to Lady Gaga when she called into radio station HOT-103 in Winnipeg.

For this little dolly to pull herself together through her tears and SING for Lady Gaga shows how gifted and poised she is--do I need to remind y'all that Maria's TEN YEARS OLD?
You know, I don't mean to get all crabby about Madonna, but since everyone is doing the "Gaga Copied Madonna" crap, I would like to say that Madonna would do well to copy GAGA in terms of being genuinely sweet, humble and kind to little fans like Maria. But, honestly? I think it's too late for Madge to adopt that sort of attitude. Besides, it wouldn't be authentic.
Just sayin'.

Everything Gaga does is a publicity stunt. At first I liked her but niw tge veils are being raised, no thanks!! I’ll stick with genuine artists. Gaga would appear to have musical talent ( definitely not a dancer!), so there should BD no need fir her to rip off the likes of Madonna and moreso Valentino’s song of 1975 – I Was Born This Way! Gaga’s lyrics are virtually identical!! Whatever possessed her to lie on National TV about receiving an email of support from Madonna? That it was a lie has been confirmed to CNN by Madonna’s rep. Then she gives an interview to Billboard and talks about her Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham influences ( following on from Andy Warhol then?). These are all people who played an important role in Madonna’s actual life and are a true part of her biography. Gaga now moves from plagiarism to
identity theft! Strange that friends who did know her in High School (oh sorry I forgot she says she didn’t have any friends!!) say they never heard her speak of Warhol, Ailey, Graham or even Madonna!!!!! The woman has built up this fake persona and I wish she would just crawl back in her egg and emerge as a genuine person with her own life and her own ideas. Then…. and only then will I start to take her seriously as a person and an artist!!
