Marie Osmond’s son, Michael Blosil commits suicide.

Oh, God. Another horrible suicide. Marie Osmond's 18 year old son, Michael, killed himself Friday night by jumping from his L.A. apartment. This is every mother's worst nightmare. My heart just breaks for Marie, who has suffered from depression herself, and now has to somehow deal with this horrific situation.

"Marie Osmond's son, Michael Blosil, took his own life Friday night after leaping to his death from his Los Angeles apartment, E! News confirms.

The 18-year-old reportedly left a note detailing his plans to commit suicide, which explained his inability to fit in and feeling as if he had no friends.

Back in 2007, Blosil entered a rehab facility for undisclosed treatment. At the time, Osmond released a statement regarding her son, then age 16:

"My son Michael is an amazing young man, shown through his courage in facing his issues. As his mother, I couldn't be more proud of him," she said in a statement. "The press and public have always been kind and gracious in the past, and I know they will continue to respect our privacy during this time."

Our hearts go out to Marie and her family.
