More American Idol News, Kanye Being Looked At For Judging Spot
Oh, Kanye.
While 'X Factor' and 'The Voice,' yes I had to mention them, are getting ready to kick off their Fall seasons, but 'American Idol' is still scrambling to put together a judges panel. We told you that Nicki Minaj is thisclose to becoming a judge, now it's being reported that Kanye West is being sought after, too.
Sources close to Idol tell TMZ that West is reportedly in talks to join the show. "'He's on the fence', because he's not sure if Idol is in his wheelhouse," reports their source. Money is also an issue, since Mariah is already taking home a good chunk of the show's budget. You know Kanye doesn't get out of bed for less than $10 million dollars a season.
IF the seasons goes ahead with Carey, West and Minaj it would obviously be a clusterfuck of divaness, but producers worry about having two female judges on, it's always been two males and the center woman, so they would add a fourth male judge. (Oh, and if you hadn't heard, Mimoo is losing her shit over the idea of a younger überdiva sipping on Diet Coke at the same table. See? Life hasn't changed one bit since junior high.)
Four judges, just like those other shows. I thought you were the gold standard, Idol? Psssh.
