Rebel Base

The show starts with Miles, Nora and Charlie en route to the American rebel base. Miles tries to talk sense into Nora about her joining the resistance. Miles flashes back to eight weeks after the blackout when he and Monroe go AWOL from their posts in the military. At the rebel base things are bad. While trying to attack a shipment of of guns the rebels were ambushed by Monroe's troops. Next we are shown one of the rebels being interrogated and he breaks and gives up the rebel base's location and is then shot for his trouble. Miles realizes that republic troops are probably on their way to the base and tries to tell Nora they need to leave but Nora refuses to go without helping to move her injured comrades to safety. Charlie agrees with Nora and Miles is left to deal with it. Gee, I'm sure everything will be fine *eyeroll*.

While at the base Miles and Nora have time to discuss what was once their romantic relationship and why it ended, just in time for the republic to show up and start shooting the base to bits. People die, Charlie gets sad and Miles has to save their asses. The base holds off the republic through the night with the plan to tunnel out of the abandoned restaurant now serving as the rebel base. This gives Nora and Charlie time to bond, one hottie to another. Nora reveals that she was once pregnant but lost her baby at the hands of militia men and has been a rebel ever since. When their tunnel collapses though the rebels find themselves trapped. Miles, Charlie and Nora fight off the first wave of militia invaders and manage to capture their commanding officer who immediately recognizes and identifies Miles as the co-founder of The Monroe Republic 2nd in command to Sebastian Monroe himself.

Charlie, Nora and the rest of the rebels are stunned at the news but I'm not, know why? Because freakin' NBC gave this away in their promo trailer a week ago!! Stupid! Charlie yells at Miles, Miles yells back.. Blah blah blah. It's now morning and Miles decides to give himself up in exchange for the rebels safety.

Light Reading With Capt. Tom

Danny is still Capt. Tom's prisoner but the best friend of the man he killed at the commune has a score to settle with him. When the captain's away he beats Danny with a heavy sack of supplies through out the night but in the morning Danny fakes an asthma attack draws the glib militia man near him then strangles him to an inch of his life telling him that if he ever touches him again he'll kill him.. While Captain Tom comely looks on...F#CK yeah Danny!!

Maggie and Aaron

The two finally arrive at Grace Beaumont's house but find that the place has been broken into and that Grace is missing. Aaron finds the remnants of Graces computer and convinces Maggie that staying at the house to figure out how and why Grace had a computer is of paramount importance. Come night time Aaron is no closer to figuring out how Grace's computer managed to work and is terribly frustrated. In the morning Aaron tells Maggie about how his perfect life was ruined by the blackout when the mysterious power necklace thingy turns on. Aaron is able to listen to music on a discman and Maggie is able to turn on her iPhone.

Prisoner March

While marching Miles back to the republic camp the commanding officer questions Miles if he knows anything about the rumors concerning how to turn the power back on. The CO tells Miles that ever since he left the republic (a few years ago) Monroe has become more angry and unpredictable. In the middle of the conversation the militia troop escorting them is ambushed by Charlie and Nora and they manage to free Miles.
