Lady Gaga, Elton John, Sting at Rainforest Fund Celebration at Carnegie Hall

Musicians (L-R) Sting, Debbie Harry, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Dame Shirley Bassey and Bruce Springsteen sing "Don't Stop Believing" during the 21st birthday celebration of the Rainforest Fund at Carnegie Hall in New York May 13, 2010.
Gaga sounds so fantastic..and Elton John sounds like Cher. But good LAWD, look at Debbie Harry. Barely singing, barely moving--but gotDAAAYUM she looks hot. I kept worrying the Bruce Springsteen's face was going to split open since it's so tight. Now that would be an awesome horror movie.
Why were the boy dancers in tiny shorts dancing like Ed Grimley?
Just wonderin'.

Chaz Bono’s sexual reassignment is legally approved by a judge!
via TMZ.com
According to the docs, on September 23, 2009, Dr. Michael Brownstein performed the operation.
The specifics of the procedure are not outlined, but the Dr. says, "Chaz Bono has completed his gender reassignment surgery."
In the "Petition for Change of Name and Gender" filed with the court, Chaz asks for a legal change from female to male.
Wow. Two sorta controversial posts in a row. I love it. Really.

Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper promote Viva Glam for MAC; Attend Amfar Gala During Fashion Week in NYC
Check OUT the Gaga, y'all. She's is ROCKING that MAC baby-pink Viva Glam lipstick like no one else. Uhhhhn. Here's what Gaga and Cyndi had to say about their affiliation with the MAC/AIDS Foundation:
"We want to make this trendy and fun," Gaga, 23, told Women's Wear Daily. "We don’t want this discussion of AIDS to become this overly intellectual discussion, because we need to make discussions about AIDS really normal -- not sitting in school nodding off because your teacher’s handed you some sheet that’s like all these percentages and graphs, and you’re thinking, well, she probably hasn’t had sex in 15 years. Sex education should be bright and vibrant and every woman should want to have this in her purse."
"We lucked out," Lauper, 56, said, adding that in the '80s, she put lipstick everywhere -- not just on her lips. "When we met each other, we liked each other and are interested in the same type of things. We laugh about similar things."
These ladies look bloody fantastic...and for a fantastic cause.

Lady Gaga to promote new ‘VIVA GLAM” lipstick this week!
Besides Gaga herself and a handful of stunning girls on "RuPaul's Drag Race", I don't know who else will be able to successfully rock this shade of pale pink for MAC's VIVA GLAM campaign. I would look like one hideous, raggedy ol' corpse. Trust. I'm sure it'll sell out though--the VIVA GLAM program that gives 100% of all proceeds to the MAC AIDS Fund is always a big success.
Me? I can really only work the MAC Diva (coincidence? I don't think so!). I've been wearing it for years and feel the need to stockpile it for fear of it being discontinued! The HORROR!
I need to order a gross...

“We Are the World” 2010
Normally, I don't post anything provided by the Associated Press, but this IS a charitable cause and it's on The YouTubes (yeah, I call it that), so it stays until I receive a snippy "cease and desist" email. ANYWAY.
How do we feel about the remake of the classic, "We Are the World"? Jeff Bridges? I'm 100% positive he's there because he'll be getting an Oscar for Best Actor; why else would he be asked to participate? Vince Vaughn? Really?
Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones had me puzzled there for a second. They spoke about the 25th anniversary of "We Are the World", but at one point, there wasn't a reason to commemorate the date -- OH, then HAITI happened! Lord, did you see Lionel's face light up when they said that? It made me squirm. I'm sure they didn't intend for their press conference to come off as self-serving, but it kinda did, huh?
Here's the real "We Are the World", recorded in 1985...with Michael Jackson.
Sometimes, the original should be left alone.
Please continue, though, with your support to the Red Cross for the Haitians who are still suffering.
