As a professional photographer (in case I haven't tooted that loud horn of mine lately), I really appreciate the beauty and heat and sexiness of these photos by acclaimed badass former model turned-photographer Ellen von Unwerth. I've admired (understatement) her work for years. She's edgy--yeah, that word is completely over-used at this point, but she is the personification of EDGE. Sexy edge.

Hmmmm...this is turning into a post about Ellen von Unwerth instead. That's fine with me, actually. I don't feel like getting into Lindsay's legal crap right now. I just want to bring more attention to this utterly fantastic photographer.

Lady Gaga once again makes me question my own sanity, appearing at a Yankees game wearing nothing but a jersey over a bra and underwear. It's been pretty hot where I am--in the 90's for the past two weeks, but I didn't realize New York was also going through a heat wave. That's the only reason I could think of as to why Gaga would leave the house in what most people sleep in. Yeah I know, it's her schtick, but it's getting pretty old, and frankly quite stank. She boozed it up with some friends and reportedly fondled her breasts while making a spectacle of herself. " Take me out to the ballgame ", indeed.

She somehow made Gaga way to the clubhouse, where she was reportedly banned. However a spokesman for the team said she, and other celebrities are never banned from the clubhouse. The Yanks lost (boooo!) which means that no one, not even Open Your Heart era Madonna, is allowed down there post game. Now if I walked outside in that I would be picked up for indecent exposure, or even prostitution, but it's Lady Gaga right! We all want to see her naked!

Anyways...here Gaga on the cover of the latest Rolling Stone, just in case you haven't had enough--but this time we have a GUN bra. Yeah. Uh huh.

Madge - "Express Yourself"!

A YouTube video is floating around that is pretty interesting. We have all noticed the similarities of Gaga's Alejandro video and well, most of Madonna's videos all rolled into one. I have to admit that I'm more irritated with Christina Aguilera copying paying homage to Madge than I am with Gaga. Perhaps it's because Christina has the VOICE and really doesn't need to rely on being so sexual and controversial--AND she didn't start out in a "performance artist" manner. It just doesn't seem natural for Christina--her Not Myself Tonight video simply felt calculated, and not in a good way.

Let's not forget a certain video from 1989 -- Rhythm Nation. I think Miss Jackson should be included in some of this conversation.

And you know what else? I don't really think Alejandro was all that awesome of a video (aside from the sacred heart image, which I loved). I wish Gaga and director Steven Klein had worked on Teeth instead. On the screen inside my own brain, I am visualizing a very sinister Deep South storyline...a big, dusty tent church revival. A crazy choir. Money being thrown into the collection baskets. Faith healing. I don't know, I really think that song has a lot more to offer visually. AND I want Trent Reznor to produce a remix. Like NOW.

Bottom line, I'm disappointed in the Alejandro video; Bad Romance and Telephone were a lot to live up to--I think Lady Gaga really needs to show us her Teeth.

Oh, and of course. I'm seeing Lady Gaga in August. Are you?

I mean, SERIOUSLY?

Last Thursday, Lady Gaga returned to her old high school, The Convent of the Sacred Heart, on East 91st Street at Fifth Avenue in Manhattan to attend the graduation of her younger sister, Natali. Gaga arrived in "Look At Me Now" style with bodyguards and wearing a see through, lace outfit. I'm sure the bullfighter get up (perhaps inspired by her new video for her latest single Alejandro) raised some eyebrows.

Can you imagine sitting behind someone dressed that looks like Raiden from Mortal Kombat while you're trying to see your child receive their diploma? This isn't even the most ridiculous thing that Gaga has ever worn, but it is ridiculous, even for her.

Once again Lady Gaga makes a spectacle of herself, maybe her sister didn't mind, but this wasn't about her--it was Natali's day. It's okay to tone it down every once in a while, Gaga.

Here we go, Monsterrrrs. It's what you've been waiting for, while kneeling on uncooked rice...

I've had a fear of nuns wearing their creepy habits since I was a wee little girl. This isn't helping. I think I always knew it would come out that they are indeed Up to The No Good. (Tick, tick, tick...that's my stopwatch. I should be getting some hate mail right about now.)

Steven Klein is THE photographer of late and now with this video, his name will become more known to the gen-pop. This is how director, David Fincher got his start after all, by directing the best of Madonna's videos.

I don't know why I'm bothering writing WORDS. All anyone cares about is this video. Go watch it again, darlings.

Lady Gaga will debut her new video for "Alejandro" on Larry King LIVE tomorrow night, as well as discuss her diagnosis with what's being referred to as "Borderline Positive" Lupus.

Gaga also discusses the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell with Larry...but seriously, how great does she look in her homage to Larry's suspenders? (Known as braces if you're reeeeeally into men's clothing. Guilty as charged.) Gaga's rolled-up sleeves and a tie with trousers? Gaga wears menswear WELL.

We will forever wonder how Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga would have sounded, looked and danced together. Sigh.

I gotta say, I love how she's seemingly blessing the child here. Then she's off to umpire the Yankee game. She's been issued the full Wilson Major League Titanium Umpire Mask, complete with Black Padding. When I say "Wilson", I mean the late-great Alexander McQueen.

Gaga sounds so fantastic..and Elton John sounds like Cher. But good LAWD, look at Debbie Harry. Barely singing, barely moving--but gotDAAAYUM she looks hot. I kept worrying the Bruce Springsteen's face was going to split open since it's so tight. Now that would be an awesome horror movie.

This is a good look for Sting.
