Magazine Round-Up! The September Issues

Every fashionista looks forward to the September issues the major mags put out every year. While this year's offerings aren't as exciting as previous years, I still can't wait to flip through 300 pages of of (mostly) ads and fashion.

'Glee''s Lea Michele got the choice cover of Harper's Bazaar shot by one of my favorite photographers, Mark Seliger. Michele wore a number of great dresses in the spread, including a flowered Valentino and this amazing blue Gucci dress. Not to mention that white jumpsuit on the cover.
In the interview Lea chats about following her dreams of being on Broadway. Even though she might be out at 'Glee' soon, she has no plans to take a break.
“I don’t stop,” Lea says. “It’s my nature. People have to tell me to slow down. I plan on playing every role on Broadway. I want to do Evita. I want to do Sweeney Todd with [Glee costar] Chris Colfer. We want to do Wicked. I’ll be Elphaba and he wants to play ‘Guy-linda.’ I want to do movies, make music. Glee is only the beginning.”
Kristen Stewart looks surprisingly good in W magazine's September issue. Styled by Edward Enninful and photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott this is probably one of the best shoots Stewart has ever done. Remember that disaster of a Vogue cover?
Sadly, they still couldn't get any real emotion out of her, but hey at least she looks good.

Newlywed Kate Moss covers Vogue's September issue, with almost 800 pages this year. Not really feeling the cover, shot by Mario Testino, but the pictures from her wedding to The Kills' Jamie Hince are gorgeous, as are the shots of the couple together, and Kate with her daughter.

Kate gushed that she was inspired by the documentary series 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding' when it came to planning her own.
“I am so romantic about Gypsies,” Kate explains. “They’re not allowed to do anything until they get married. So they all get married really young, at sixteen. You can’t believe the dresses. They’re like blinging butterflies times ten; they can’t move down the aisle! It’s so genius. I was just watching Jamie, so cute, and I was like, these girls, they just spend their whole life waiting for that day—let’s do it!”
Well, anyways.

And something for the ladies, Lenny Kravitz covers UPTOWN magazine and well, do I need to say more? Look at him!

The shoot follows Lenny around New York City, showing off his trademark style.

Paul Rudd makes it onto Nylon Guys, and begs a question from me, do guys actually read fashion magazines? You know Paul, if this whole acting thing doesn't work out for you, there's always modeling!

Anne Hathaway to guest star on GLEE
Anne Hathaway wasn't at the Golden Globes just to present, she was also looking for her next gig. While promoting her latest movie 'Love And Other Drugs,' she visited Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and talked about what role she'd like to play on the hit FOX series. "Kurt’s long-lost aunt, his mother’s sister who is also gay, who comes back to help him deal with his sexuality." You can tell she put a lot of thought into this, she also has her songs picked out!
"We just finalized a deal with Anne tonight to come onto the show," creator Ryan Murphy told PEOPLE on Sunday night. "She's already created [her role]," Murphy said. "She wants to play the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer. Because everyone needs a lesbian aunt."
Apparently Anne's not the only one who wants to be on the show, Murphy said lots of actors ask to appear on Glee, "I can't even think of who. But it's so sweet. I think they support the show because it's about the arts." If someone was asking me for a job I'd like to think I would remember their names. He was probably drunk off his win.
In more Glee news, Amber Riley told Michael Ausiello that she and Lea Michele would be singing "Take Me Or Leave Me" from the Broadway musical RENT. “Sue tells Mercedes that Rachel was talking [smack] about her, so Mercedes says [to Rachel], ‘We’re having a diva-off once and for all, and we’re going to settle this,’” Riley said.
A DIVA-OFF? Bring it!

I need MORE Jane Lynch...and more of the other cast members "GLEE" for that matter--and LESS of Lea Michele's trout-mouthed screech. I'm not even kidding. I held my head in agony too many times last night during the season premiere. Good Lord. It's not called "The Lea Michele Show"!!
Hey "GLEE" writers? Don't make me beat a dead horse two weeks in a row about this issue--I'm not the only one who is feeling this way.
