Gaaaah. Go downtown; buy and hat; and hold the eff ON. Here's a very strange video for the song that's been running through my brain since I first heard it -- "The Immigrant Song" by Trent Reznor and Karen O.
Eyelashes. Lips. Chords. Computers. Screams. Thundering melodies.

Listen to music from the ‘Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ Soundtrack NOW! Karen O and Trent Reznor’s ‘The Immigrant Song’ HERE!
The official and full version of "Immigrant Song," the awesome collaboration between Yeah Yeah Yeah's front woman Karen O and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross hit the internet last night. People were so excited to hear it, the Null Co. site crashed.
Reznor offered up some info on the upcoming soundtrack release.
"For the last fourteen months Atticus and I have been hard at work on David Fincher’s “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”. We laughed, we cried, we lost our minds and in the process made some of the most beautiful and disturbing music of our careers. The result is a sprawling three-hour opus that I am happy to announce is available for pre-order right now for as low as $11.99. The full release will be available in one week - December 9th.
Visit iTunes here where you can immediately download Karen O’s and our version of Led Zepplin’s “Immigrant Song”when you pre-order the soundtrack for $11.99.
You will also be able to exclusively watch the legendary 8-minute trailer you may have heard about (no purchase necessary obviously). We scored this trailer separately from the film, BTW.
Visit our store here . We’re offering a variety of purchasing options including multiple format high-quality digital files, CDs and a really nice limited edition deluxe package containing vinyl and a flash drive.
In addition, RIGHT NOW you can download a six-track, 35 minute sampler with no purchase necessary.
Live the dream and visit both! Atticus and I are very proud of the film and our work, we hope you enjoy.
Just let it be said that both Brittani and DivaJulia would tearfully welcome the $300 signed full-meal deal, thankyouverymuch.
The fabulous lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is celebrating her 33rd birthday today. Known for her crazy stage outfits and stage diving, Karen O (Karen Lee Orzolek) is definitely one of the coolest ladies in rock.
We can look forward to hearing the full cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" that she did with DiC favorite, Trent Reznor for the The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo soundtrack. (We LOVE how a chick is the only one who could pull off covering this song...)
She also recently worked David Lynch on his solo album Crazy Clown Town. Yeah Yeah Yeahs also confirmed that they were working on a new album, can't wait!
Hey. Wanna see something funny?
Who's the dude on the right? SNORT!!!
The Feel Bad Movie of Christmas is almost here. This is the newest poster for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, much different and less dark than the other one. I personally love the typography and the glimpse of Lisbeth's nose ring.
We'll find out what exactly is hidden in the snow soon enough.
Creepy-Beautiful Photos of Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig for Empire Magazine – ‘Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’

Yep. These are completely gratuitous sexy-dark pictures for a certain sector of my readers--and you all know who you are. For some reason (heh), we like seeing Daniel Craig strapped to a chair, all bad ass, yet a little vulnerable--but mostly bad ass and laughing and taunting his abuser in The Chair/Torture Scene from "Casino Royale". Remember that? Yeah. I thought so.
ANYhot. Empire Magazine's November Issue has some really scary-gorgeous photos of Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara. Take a gander!
I'm seriously looking forward to seeing The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, as I've mentioned a million times.
My husband is engrossed in reading the books, and is just as anxious to see David Fincher's take on the Swedish book written by the late Stieg Larsson. Clearly though, I can't be bothered with reading...although I did manage to get through the (disappointing) Swedish version of the film--subtitles and all.
LOVE. THESE. PHOTOS. ~ Signed, The Pretentious Illiterate
(What would I have done without the brilliance of Zach Galifianakis--because I will beat this dead horse forever.)
