Tom Ford Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection Revealed – FINALLY!
Secret Agent Man, Tom Ford was seeming highly unforthcoming with regard to his Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection. Unlike other designers who parade their latest lot down the runway for Fashion Week, Mr. Ford chose to show off a few bits by allowing celebrities (Paltrow, Julianne Moore and Jennifer Lawrence) to wear pieces of the collection on recent red carpet events.
Now we have an actual video of Tom Ford's Autumn/Fall 2012 Collection. Let's watch it together, shall we?
I'm practically weeping at the sheer perfection of this collection.
When it comes to vision, restraint and fit, Tom Ford is peerless, in my opinion. The columnar gowns, the subdued padded shoulders, the color stories are classic and obviously investment pieces. I can envision these pieces being worn in the 70's through today and onward.
You can see the rest of his collection,which include the gorgeous dyed Alpaca coats, sleek leather suits and Russian spy-inspired looks Mr. Ford showed in London--by invitation only, of course.
Oh, Tom.
