True Blood Recap, ‘Me and The Devil’

I'll keep it short and sweet this week.

This episode of True Blood dragged a bit, but it was still okay. We kick things off with Tommy struggling to get free from Joe Lee. He overpowers him and kills them, then accidentally kills Melinda. Of course they first place he goes is to his brother Sam who helps him dump the bodies in the swamp.
Andy, still hopped up on V, almost finds out about what they're doing, but Tommy shifts into an alligator ans scares him off. Why Tommy didn't change into some small animal and get away from Joe Lee sooner is beyond me, but they both had die. Sam reveals to Tommy that he killed someone. What an odd way to bond with your brother. Jason tries to explain to Hoyt about what happened to him in Hot Shot. He reasons that because he had so much sex, that somehow God was punishing him by having those women rape him. At least that's what the producers have decided to do to him this season.
Hoyt is upset over Jessica being cold to him after rescuing Jason. Jason reminds him that their problems aren't exactly the same and later he has a dream about Jess. Well that's what V does to you.

One of the funnier parts of the episode was Terry and Arlene trying to rid their house of Rene's ghost by calling Reverend Daniel and Lettie Mae to cleanse the home. It's safe to say it didn't work because a book of matches ignites itself later that night. I want to hurry this devil baby/demon doll story along, as someone said they should have gotten an ugly baby to play Mikey. He's just too darn cute.

Alcide is visited by Marcus Boseman, a pack master who wants to know why he hasn't registered with the pack. So many rules with these supernaturals. Any scene with Alcide is a good thing though. Jesus, Lafayette and Tara try to warn Marnie that the vampires will come after her. To be safe, Jesus brings Laffy with him to Mexico to visit his grandfather. Tara tells Sookie about her girlfriend and that she has been lying to her.
After Sookie tells her to tell Naomi the truth, Eric comes out of his room and scares her off. Tara has always been the one with the most sense in Bon Temps, but I guess some good viking vampire peen means more to Sookie than a life long friendship. After being visited by Godric in his dreams, who told him to drain her, Eric tries to resist biting Sookie but they later kiss after he tells her that he doesn't want to hurt her.
Pam comes to Bill, sans half of her face, to ask that he do something about the witches. "I can put up with a lot, but you f*** with my face it's time to die." I did enjoy Pam's Lydia Deetz look with the veil. Katerina, Bill's mole at the MoonGoddess Emporium helps to capture Marnie and Bill has her locked up at his home.

While talking about witches killed vampires during the Inquisition, Pam reveals that Marnie erased Eric's memory and he's been at Sookie. Didn't Bill know this already? Well Sookie may have gained another vamp boyfriend, she lost a friend. She was warned by Marnie, who was channeling Gran to get away from her and take care of Jason.
"When my Gran tells me to run, I run." I think Sookie is going to be doing a lot of running in the coming weeks.
