Everyone knows that fashion shows are the beautiful result of organized chaos.
Earlier in the week Brittani ~ The Girl You Want gave us a rundown on all the pretty that took place on the Zac Posen runway. I'm not sure what went down backstage but Fashionista reported the brouhaha that ensued after the New York Fire Department pulled 60 front row seats.
With such prime real estate gone, Lynn Tesoro, Zac Posen's PR person got into an altercation with a french editor Jennifer Eyemore. Accompanied by her mother, president of the publishing house, Eyemore felt humiliated and sought to humiliate Tesoro in return. Did she do this with words? Nope, she slapped her. To further sink her ship, Eyemore confirmed the incident with WWD and in playground terms basically said, I did it, I meant it, I'm here to represent it" with her statement:
"It was a small slap. It was not strong. I didn’t hurt her, it was just to humiliate her. She humiliated my mom, and I humiliated her in front of her crew. Voilà. I just said at the end, ‘Now you know you don’t f**k with French people."
Le Sigh. Daughters of privilege, getting physical might fly with the maids at the Four Seasons or even the people in your personal employ. But The New York Daily News is reporting this may cost Eyemore 1 milion dollars, as that is the amount Tesoro is seeking in the lawsuit she filed. Posen reportedly apologized to Susskind-Jalou, Eymere and Bellugeon for the seating incident.
So Naomi was in the house but above the fray. Apparently love with a billionaire has a calming effect.
